Core training focus areas
Supporting safer workplaces and communities.
Under South Africa's Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, employers are required to provide and maintain, as far as reasonably practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risk to employees' health.
The General Safety Regulations also require employers to take reasonable steps to ensure that people at work receive prompt first aid treatment in the event of injury or emergency. Philani’s First Aid, Health & Safety training helps employers, organisations, farms, NGOs, and community groups strengthen workplace readiness, support legal compliance, reduce risk, and equip learners with practical, life-saving skills.
For Employers and Partners
Customised training for organisations and communities.
Philani works with organisations to identify training needs and deliver practical programmes that support workforce development, compliance, productivity, and community upliftment.
Training can be customised for farms, businesses, industry partners, community groups, and development initiatives.
